Purchase Shabbat Meals from the Sderot Area and Donate them to the Region's Residents
The project to support businesses in the south is continuing within
Tzohar Rabbbinical Organization communities and in conjunction with
Leket Israel.
It may take a while for the local economy to revive. Your contributions will be spent with local businesses who have been hit financially.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to support local caterers who will prepare Shabbat meals which will be distributed to families in need by
Afikim BaNegev and the non-profit organizations with whom
Leket Israel has had a long standing relationship. We will also purchase drinks and snacks from hard hit local grocery stores.
Please purchase as many meals as you can at 35 NIS ($9) per meal. Stage 1 is to provide 900 meals which represents the neediest cases. We hope we can reach stage 2 and beyond.
